Wear Rudraksh
Use a Rudraksh mala for Japa all the day of the month or Monday
Devotee Offer Bhibhuti to God Shiva and place some vibhuti on your forehead also.
Perform Monday Fast with austerity to please Lord Shiva. It is a popular belief that girls who fast on all Mondays of Shravan get a good husband.
Make offerings of Bel leaves, Panchamrut (milk, yoghurt, clarified butter, honey and jaggery) on Shiva Ling.

Kevada Teej, also known as Kevda Trij , is a Hindu ceremonial observed mainly inside Gujarat on the third the light of day of the Shukla Paksha of Bhadravo month in Gujarat. In 2013, the date of Kevda Teej is September 8.

Why Women Celebrate Kevda Treej ?

Married and unmarried women observe a vrat(fast) on the day and offer Kevada flower to Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva. Kevada Teej day, women keep fast for long and good, healthy life of their husband, fast proceeds without even drinking a drop of water.
