Maa Durga Nine Form - Navdurga

Goddess Durga Worshipped in Navratri as Nine Different Goddess Form like Durga Shailputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Skanda Mata, Katyayani, Kalratri, Maha Gauri and Siddhidatri.

Goddess Durga is a form of "Divine Shakti". The evolution of three main Goddess Shree Maha Saraswati, Goddess Shree Maha Laxmi and Godess Shri Mahakali took place from God Shri Brahma, God Shri Vishnu and God Shri Mahesh respectively. All above three goddess Sarashvati, LamXmi maa, mahakali maa gave rise to three more avtar(form) and nine make nine form deities. These nine forms of deities together are known as Nav-Durga.

Brahma means ‘Tapasya’.
‘Brahma’ depicted as pious women or Sannyasin.
This name of the goddess came as its own story behind tis name.
She prayed hard to get Shiva as her husband.
So due to hard ‘Tapa’(Yog) Goddess was named Brahmacharini.
Goddess Brahamcharini hold a "Kumbha" or water pot in one hand and in other holds a rosary.

Third Day Of Navratri Festival And Events - Worshiped as Chandraghanta – Goddess Durga Third Form

Third day of navratri festival maa durga worshiped as Chandraghanta rituals as described in the Puranas..
Chandraghanta means Chandra or moon and ghanta means bell.
There is a half-circular moon in goddess forehead.
In this form Goddess Durga depicts the angry element of goddess.
Deity Chandraghanta form possesses ten hands and three eyes.
Maa Chandraghanta have weapons eight hand and in other two hands in mudras of boon giving and stopping harm.

Fourth day of Navratri Festival And Events - Worshiped as Kushmanda - Goddess Durga Fourth Form

According to mythology Goddess Kushmanda have created the universe with a mere smile.
Maa durga as form of kushmanda resides in the solar systems.
Only Deity is capable to stay in between huge fire & light.

Goddess body is also bright & light like Sun.
Deity Kushmanda has eight hands.
Rosary beads in one hand and in other hand hold a holy urn, a bow, an arrow, a lotus, a pot, a disc and a club.

So that God Shiva half body was that of the Devi and God Shiva was known as Ardhanareshwar.
